We've been opening up submissions for the annual Festival of Eggs and the Halloween Trick-or-Treat events to community submissions for some time now. Both events have been receiving a lot interest, so we're continuing the process this year.

All submissions must be sent via PM to @Event Art Submissions. The deadline for submissions is March 31.

Here's some base guidelines:

• The egg is the main theme, so you must be able to see the egg in the sprite.
• Size limit of 50x50px.
• Images must be submitted in PNG or GIF form.
• Eggs must be pixel art, which generally means that overall color count is limited and pixels are intentionally placed. Do not use filters or anti-aliased tools such as Photoshop's paint brush.
• Eggs may be animated, but should not use rapid or flashing effects. Animated PNGs are allowed, but your mileage may vary. The first frame of animation should be identifiable, to accommodate situations where animations are disabled.
• Semi-transparency is allowed.
• Images must not be shared publicly before the event begins.
• Eggs may be rejected for reasons other than those in this post¢namely, there will be a general quality bar. We'll try to provide useful feedback around rejections.
• Only one submission will be accepted per-person.

There are a limited number of spots available. Art will be accepted on a first come, first served basis which only applies when the art is deemed to meet all of the above guidelines (that is, if you need to make changes and resubmit, that bumps you to the back of the line).

Sprite updates are not undertaken lightly, and are always done with an eye towards preserving the feel of the sprite as well as its appearance in lineages. Updates are typically done for older sprites to improve anatomy, fix shading issues, and bring them more inl ine with the ever-increasing standards set by newer sprites.

We hope you enjoy these improvements. I'm personally pretty excited to see the updates available to everyone, especially the new Magis (one of my own favorite breeds).

So..... today's the day Im launching this Doodlecorn Magic adoption series. Each Doodlecorn purchase comes with 20 copies of the Doodlecorn on Wajas. Owners will gain control over most of their Doodlecorn(s) pages as well as the release of their Doodlecorn(s) item on the site. Similar to the dolls but these are considerably cheaper and a little more involved since they come with those items too. Im super excited to bring this to you guys. Thank you all so much who purchased a Doodlecorn (or two)! Every owner has been registered to their corresponding doodlecorn. As the owner, you can edit most of their information. Only exception being the pictures and description I added :) You should be able to submit edits to your Doodlecorn pages. If you go in and name your Doodlecorn, I'll promptly update the item name as well. This seems to have worked the best for the ones that have been renamed already. These went pretty quickly. I've been trying to update my Etsy every Saturday at 4:30 pm EST (Wajas Time). I want to make a few more doodlecorns for this upcoming week but the release wont be nearly as large. I will toss up a poll on the Doodlecorns as Im curious to see what you all think. Again, thank you all so much for your support of Wajas and my little art dudes.
