Thorntail dragons have been constantly underfoot and squirreling away treasures for their elaborate caches for as long as most dragons can remember. Perhaps it's time for your clan to befriend these diligent collectors?
Dragon clans may learn about the characteristics of their fellow dragons in the Encyclopedia.
If you¢re looking to change your dragons into a Thorntail, breed change scrolls will have a rare chance to randomly drop from Rusted Treasure Chest, Iron Treasure Chest, and Gilded Decorative Chest.
In addition, from now until November 27, 2025 at 9:00 server time, Thorntail Cache will be available in the Treasure Marketplace Bundles section to help make Thorntails breed change scrolls available immediately.

Unique Genes
You can pick up the following unique Thorntail genes in the Treasure & Gem Marketplace:
You can excavate Ancient Gene Parchment: Tusked and Ancient Gene Parchment: Mossat Arlo's Ancient Artifacts in the Frozen Age and Fossilized Flora dig sites. These parchment can be exchanged at Glass and Gloss' Genuine Genes for the ancient version of the gene.
You can trade for Ancient Gene Parchment: Yarn at Swipp's Swap Stand. , This parchment can be exchanged at Glass and Gloss' Genuine Genes for the ancient version of the gene.
