Stickers!

Stickers have arrived! Stickers are a new category of item that can be stuck to you or your friends' Sticker Albums.

The only way to add stickers to your album is for others to add them or to utilize Faelyn's sticker service. To add a sticker to someone else's album, the sticker item must be in your inventory. From the options menu, you can select a user to add the sticker to their album. Once in your album, you can sort them to be displayed in whatever order you would like.

Stickers can be found in Faelyn's new Sticker Shop, as prizes from Arcade games for high enough scores, and as special reputation items with other shop NPCs when you have purchased enough of their stock. More stickers will be added in the coming days as well!

- Entries for this month's Monthly Contest will end soon, at January 22, 2021, 23:59:59, after which point voting will begin!

- A calendar has been added to help detail end dates for events, as well as show when past news/events ran. This can be accessed from the front page or the Information Hub.

- Thank you to everyone who signed up for the Valentine's design event! We will be contacting artists via Discord soon!

After nearly a month of smashing pinatas and celebrating the New Year, Pinata Mania has almost come to an end! After today, New Years themed items and Pinatas will no longer be stocked on the shelves of NPC shops or rewarded in quests. But don't fret, because the fun and games will surely return next year!



It looks like the Solitary Sprite's generous gifts have found an additional use! For this weekend - January 22nd to January 24th, 23:59:59 IcePets Time - Penelope over at the Book Quest has decided to increase both the Quest Prizes and the Daily Quest Limits! You will be able to do 20 quests instead of the usual 10 and gain increased rewards for each completed quest as well. Remember, this is for this weekend only and Penelope will switch back to the usual Questing rates once it is over.

Going forward, Terrafrostians can look forward to similar Questing weekends twice a month in accordance to the Solitary Sprite's gifts. Be sure to keep an eye on the news if you wish to know which Quest Giver has increased rewards for that weekend!

More parallel genes are appearing on ancient breeds, and alchemists discover a new scene!

Parallel Genes for Ancients

Several parallel genes are now available for ancient breeds! Clown and Eye Spots are now available for Banescale, Gaoler, and Veilspun. Ripple and Current are now available for Banescale and Gaoler. Falcon and Peregrine are now available for Banescales. Giraffe and Hex Are now available for Banescales and Veilspun. These genes can be found in the Treasure Marketplace.

Serpent Shrine Scene
Alchemists who have learned of the wonders of the serpent shrine's poisons and alchemy have endeavoured to recreate it. Alchemists levels 25 and above can brew Scene: Serpent Shrine at Baldwin's Bubbling Brew!

Additional Updates

• Swiftstride Soldier and Stonestomp Spearmaiden have had their hand artwork adjusted to better convey that they are aiming their javelins and not be perceived as performing a hateful salute. Players may need to clear their cache to see this change.
• Ripple and Current are now both uncommon genes in terms of inheritance. Previously they were mismatched as common/uncommon.

Hello everyone! Over the next few days, I will be cleaning out the bug box and changing the status of many tickets to "fixed". When I do, many of you will receive notifications but don't worry! It's just a bit of early spring cleaning. :)

It is with a heavy heart that I share this with you. Our dear friend, Poetrist, has passed away. She will be dearly missed by so many players who knew and loved her.


Poetrist was a special lady. She was always helping Powerpets succeed with her ideas and suggestions on new items. She was kind, helpful, and such a caring person. We will miss you so much!

Hello everyone! 

Today begins the release of the Tennessee Walking Horse into the foundation store! Tennessee Walking Horse is now available to players with gold and platinum upgrades. On Saturday at noon, the breed will be fully released for everyone to purchase at the foundation store.

Happy new breed day everyone! Today we are excited to welcome our first new breed of 2021!

°´ New Breed!

Today we are celebrating our first new breed of 2021! Due to popular demand for a gaited breed, the Tennessee Walking Horse (TWH) has ¢running walked¢ into Eqcetera! This breed comes in an array of colors and even...leopard! After researching the breed, it was found that there are a few registered TWHs that carry the leopard gene. This means TWH in-game have been given all possible leopard patterns. 

Leopard TWHs

Leopard TWHs will join us at the end of the month when straws and eggs are launched. There will be a drawing for 2 eggs and 2 straws which will open in the forum once straws and eggs are added. We will also be auctioning 1 egg and 1 straw in the Auction House afterward for those who wish to have a chance to purchase if they did not win via random drawing. 

Somatic Mutation TWH

° Bug Fixes

• Smaller images for liver chestnut American Warmbloods, Abstangs, and Friesdales fixed.

• Flaxen no longer shows in color names for grey horses.

• Greying horses with black bases have been fixed to correctly say ¢Steel Grey¢

• Greyling layer fixed for Brumby foals.

• Bay + Dun horses should now show the dun layer.

• Autobuy can no longer be lower than the reserve for both the Horse Market and Auction House.

• Chestnut based Norwegian Fjords now show Dun in their color name.

• Brown Bay + CrCr now makes Brown Bay Cream and layers as Brown Bay base + Cream overlay. A new color!!

° Road Map Update

We have made an adjustment to the 2021 Road Map which includes a change which will happen in just a few weeks! Straws & eggs will be added this month instead of quests & lore. We have decided to move quests and lore to July inorder to more easily incorporate features from now until then into the overarching story.
