Hugs!:

Awwwwwww. Once an hour for the duration of the festival, be sure to visit another user's profile and give them a big minty hug. :) It'll put a smile on their face, and also put a festival-themed item in your inventory. Be sure to collect them all!

Shop Items:

This particular festival also has a number of items in the shops, so make sure you visit them all. Never know where things might turn up!

Retiring Items:

Okay, this can be a bit sad, but we have some items retiring this year! All returning festival items get a nice run of 4 years after their festival first release date, so we can make room for new ones. Festival Items originally released in 2022 will be retiring this year. These items are spread throughout the site, so be sure to grab them while you can. :)


Don't forget: if an item has a "25" in the corner, it will be 2025 ONLY and will disappear after 11:59 PM on the 19th. ( or thereabouts) If an item has a corner icon but no date on it, it is a returning festival item and should be back next year! If an item has no corner icon, well, it's just a normal item that will stick around after the festival.

I am hoping to add an "Impress Me" event this weekend. Stay Tuned!

Hello Terrafrostians!

The IcePets Team wishes to touch base and provide an update on what has been happening behind the scenes, as well as some insight into recent changes and those on the horizon.

As most of you are aware, IcePets is nearing its sixteenth anniversary and has undergone changes in ownership on several occasions. Much of the site's current content was introduced during the original owners' tenure, and the ethical beliefs and practices that were prevalent over a decade ago no longer align with the current team's values -- and, honestly, have not done so for several years.

One of the more significant recent changes has been the revision of the I.C.E Boxes in the I.C.E shop. We felt that the random chance of winning a prize, which could be purchased with external currency, was not in line with our goals. Whilst providing users with a choice is not a perfect solution, we believed it would be beneficial for both ourselves and the community, and would be viewed as a positive change.

Another aspect of the site we plan to implement changes on include the referral store. This store contains a number of items that, in hindsight, should not be available as referral prizes. We're reviewing the store's contents to ensure they align with our values and provide a fair experience for all users, especially considering the alternative way to acquire referral points, which is purchasing 10 Referral Points Cards from the I.C.E shop. The team is working on a way to remove many items while still respecting the cash value tied to them. We will provide further updates on this matter in the near future.

We also intend to remove Golden Slots from the site entirely when we revisit the Plot, which currently features steps tied to this game. Golden Slots does not align with our goal of avoiding any activities that could be perceived as promoting or glorifying gambling. We acknowledge that this is a serious issue that many Terrafrostians or their loved ones may struggle with on a daily basis, and we do not wish to contribute to the problem.

Our primary objective is to be more transparent regarding our plans for the site. Previously, the team has been cautious about sharing information, fearing that we might not be able to follow through on our commitments due to various reasons -- we do not wish to disappoint the community. We have identified our top priorities for the site, which we will focus on after the layout release on the 22nd of this month. We will share more information about these priorities shortly after its release.

In the meantime, we would appreciate any feedback from the community regarding what you feel should be our top priority for change on the site. We are aware that this will be a gradual process to bring the site up to date, and we are grateful for your continued support throughout this period.
