Do Evil Snow Jars need more love? Have you got the perfect idea for a Space-themed Companion? Well, gather your paints and pencils and tablet pens, because it's time for a Draw Your Own Companion Contest!

Your fluffy (or feathery or scaly or ominous void) creation must match an existing pet colour (e.g. Pirate, Orange, Pinata).

Rules:

Rule 1 - Work must be entirely your own. Please do not trace original artwork or use Google images, but image manipulation of IcePets art to create graphics is acceptable.
Rule 2 - One entry per User.
Rule 3 - While you may use existing IcePets artwork in your submission it must be modified in some way in order to create your idea, not just a one-to-one of something on IcePets.
Rule 4 - Your submission cannot be something that already exists on the site.
Rule 5 - Your submission cannot be identical to other existing Companion designs or ideas outside of IcePets; you may make references to other media with your Companion, but it cannot be an exact copy or a recolour of an existing IcePets Companion. Example: Don't dress your Herji up in a pointed hat, but maybe make a companion with similar fluffy fur instead.
Rule 6 - Art must be kept PG-13. For example, you may show blood, weapons, or mild violence, but not gore or dismembered limbs, etc. All entries submitted must be considered appropriate under the Terms and Conditions of IcePets.

Have you heard what the buzz is all about? Insects are swarming across Sornieth, and bug-loving dragons everywhere are taking advantage of it!

Springswarm, one of Flight Rising's quarterly "micro-holidays", is in full swing! From Thursday, March 9th (06:00 Server Time) to Monday, March 13th (06:00 Server Time), all players will experience a couple of battle-related boosts!


Bountiful Battles

For the duration of Springswarm, all all Coliseum enemies will have the chance to drop insect food items in addition to their normal loot. Performing activities around the site can also yield these tasty treasures. Dragon clans everywhere are taking this time to stock up on ants, bees, cicadas, caterpillars, butterflies, worms, beetles, and more to keep them satisfied until the summer time.

Battle EXP Boost

During the event, all battles will yield 50% additional EXP, so now is a perfect time for dragons to train. Grab your newest team and head out into battle!


These Boars Want More

Dragonkind are not the only ones taking advantage of the swarm. As the forests, jungles, and fields teem with life, enterprising critters rummage through the undergrowth. A few clever species of boar add their talents to this bug bonanza, using the moss and dirt to shimmy themselves into the perfect hiding spots. For the duration of Springswarm, these snorting familiars will drop fairly commonly in the Coliseum and rarely during Insect Catching. Once the swarms have subsided, they'll go back into hiding, but there's always a chance you may run into one or two while Insect Catching.

This year we have a new vista that has a chance to drop in the coliseum and many other site-related activities.
