Northern Terrafrost is basking in delightfully warm air, which is breathing vibrant life into a myriad of plants around the globe. As the weather will shift soon, bringing a crisp chill with it, now is the perfect time to revel in these enchanting flowers while they're still blooming in their glory.

To participate in this little event, take a picture of a flower or any other plant around you, along with a sign reading "IcePets Garden." You should also include your username somewhere in the image. Don't be afraid to get creative with these photos! You can include a stuffed animal, your pet, or even yourself in the image. And if you don't have a camera or any plants nearby, don't fret -- you can create a digital image as well. Just remember: do not use images that aren't your own, and don't trace another person's artwork.



Those participating should post their photos in this thread before July 30th, 23:59:59 IcePets Time. Everyone who shares an image fitting the requirements will receive a Snow Contestant Trophy and a Fairy Snow Jar after the contest has ended! Make sure your image is still accessible a few days past the deadline to allow the Team to confirm you participated!

We'd like to interrupt your daily gameplay with some fun updates! Firstly, if you haven't noticed already, this month's new Magic Shop release is the Basics Red line! Available only during the month of July, so stock up while you still can. Here are a couple of my favorites:

Secondly, though the Vessen have went into hibernation for the summer, we have made a new discovery. Meet their elusive cousin, the Vessah! While some have found their way into the Magic Shop for the summer, most can be found within the Companion Forest or are comfortably hidden away in the Cash Shop. Collect them all!

Fiery horses only! Whether fueled by fire or magma, your entry must be a horse that is just too hot to handle -- especially in this summer heat!

Only two private genes to be used (including CS genes). Gene pairings such as the mane and tail will be considered as one gene. One entry per player. If you change your mind at any time before the deadline, please update your entry by editing your post. If there are two or more entries by a single player, any prior entries will be disqualified and the most recent entry will be used. Entry must include the link to the horse, or your entry will be disqualified!

Varnish and Lacquer are now available for Modern, Aberration, Banescale, and Veilspun dragons! today's update




Varnish and Lacquer
Varnish and Lacquer are primary and secondary genes that apply a ribbon of changing color across the body and wings of your dragons. This gene pair is now available for Modern, Aberration, Banescale, and Veilspun dragons, and has a chance to stock in the Treasure Marketplace.

New Achievements
3 new achievements for Sophie and modern genes are now available.

Jigsaw Additions
The 11 elemental map puzzles have been updated with the current artwork. In addition, there are 13 new puzzle possibilities for Jigsaw! These puzzles will not be available until after rollover, when Jigsaw reboots to prevent players who are currently assembling puzzles from losing their progress.






Thundercrack Carnivale Skin Contest
The thirteenth annual Thundercrack Carnivale will begin on Monday, July 28, 2025, and we're running a skin and accent contest in celebration! Please note that the contest ends on a Wednesday. Click here for more information!

Additional Updates

• We have reduced the requirements for weekly and monthly Sophie's Splendid Stitches sewing pursuits.
• We have an update on Flair (Cirrus), which will be reverting to its prior state minus a Cirrus-breed-internal consistency change.
• The issue affecting search features such as Auction House, Forum Search, Dragon Search, etc. appears to be resolved. We will continue monitoring the situation.

Designs Summary makeover, now with actions Two new preference settings New NextGen action: Save Current Palette Inventory Bulk Actions Makeover The Inventory bulk actions were each added separately and they all looked a little different from each other. Some let you remove items, others did not. The primary goal for this update was to make each of the confirmation pages look and act similar, with items that could be removed individually. The first change is that bulk quantities are now set using the mobile friendly ItemCounter component: Click the [+] and [-] buttons to bump the quantity up and down by 1 Long press [+] to quickly get to a bigger quantity Use the keyboard to enter a quantity directly Click on "max" to instantly set the maximum quantity Next, the confirmation pages now show actual previews rather than summaries.
