Something fishy has been going on in the Snowslide Mountains. Many hikers have reported a strange, magical feeling in the mountain air -- and they swear it's not the altitude.



There has also been an increased presence of Companions wandering in this region. Could these two phenomena be connected, or is it a mere coincidence?

"I know these mountains like the back of my wing, so you can trust me when I say that something in the air has changed recently," Gabrielle of the Snow Jar Igloo insists. "And while I can't quite say what it may be, I believe magic is involved. I can't help but wonder what's in store for the Snowslide Mountains..."

It's probably nothing. But just in case, stay on your toes in the days to come...

Warrior's Way is a battle-themed event calling for warriors, smiths, armorers, and other ferocious creatures to prove their metal and their mettle!

Welcome to Warrior's Way!

Come one, come all to Warrior's Way! This new annual event will take place every August for only the fiercest and most skilled competitors! Warrior's Way will run from 06:00 server time on August 5th to 06:00 server time on August 15th this year. Please read the pamphlet above for more information on this fantastic event!



How to Participate
For its debut year, Warrior's Way will use a randomized chest system, much like Night of the Nocturne's Strange Chests. Soldier's Supplies may contain treasure, warrior's way exclusive familiars, vistas, scenes, and apparel. You can find these chests by gathering in any skill or region, participating in your day-to-day site activities, and by battling in the coliseum. All enemies in the coliseum have a chance at dropping Soldier's Supplies, but themed Warrior's Way enemies (Available from Venues up to Level 22) will have a higher chance of doing so! From now until the end of the event there is a 50% Coliseum experience bonus!

Each year the event runs its prizes will only continue to grow, with this year's items returning each year alongside all-new event-exclusive rewards! In addition, we hope to move Warrior's Way to a trade-in Shop system, with a variety of reagents and currencies dropping through site events that you can use to directly purchase items you would like from a timed event-shop.

The retirement party is a big hit! Almost everyone is here. Trunks is surprised to hear that it was LilRoo who was in charge of bringing the food and drinks to the storage room. He didn't even steal one thing. Will LilRoo finally become a good citizen?


Looking around, Trunks sees all the party hats. "Who made these?" he asks the nearest person. "We all made them," she replies. "We used the newspapers that Padam tried to hide from us in his shack." Padam and newspapers? I should get my hands on one!

"Speech! Speech! Speech!"

Oh right, a speech. Time to tell the truth.

"Dear PowerPetters: I want to thank you for this wonderful party, but I haven't been completely honest," Trunks starts. He could hear the gasps and see the surprised looks. "I'm really sorry, but when Nova saw me at the beach I had just noticed a bottle with a piece of paper in it, and I didn't want Nova to see and take it before I could. I just wanted to check it out by myself. That is why I thought a little lie couldn't hurt."

"Was there anything on the paper?" "Did you find out where it came from?" Everyone keeps shouting questions at Trunks.

"Before the questions, let me finish please," Trunks said. When it is quiet again, Trunks continues: "The note said: Help! So many bones! My first thought was Miles, and I sent players to help him." Everyone turns to look at Miles, who starts to blush. "But as I know now, the note didn't come from him. As a matter of fact, I think it comes from the area around Skull Island which can be seen on the treasure map that was found 10 years ago. I have decided that part of my lie to Nova will become true. I am going on a trip, a trip to Skull Island."

"If you need any help," Rummy calls out, "I can come with you."

"Did someone say skulls? Of course I'm in!" d4rk_saga says.

"I guess that is settled then," Trunks replies, "but have any of you ever sailed a boat?" Both Rummy and d4rk say they haven't. "Then I guess we'll have to ask our pirates."

After the party ends Trunks, Rummy, and d4rk come together to discuss what is needed. "The boat has to be sturdy to carry us and the supplies." Trunks starts.

"Azul from the Armory might be able to help us with that," d4rk suggests.

Achievements

Some of you who have been around may have noticed, we have achievements now!! While there are only a handful, we'll be rolling more out as we continue on. To learn more about what you will earn, check out the notifications page and click on the achievement. We'll also be looking at adding these to user profiles in the near future ° 

Animated Human Avatar

With achievements comes rewards - such as animated human avatar items!

While we figure out what to do with the old forums avatars (coughstampscough) we want to continue rewarding players for helping us out.

To make them stand out - they are ANIMATED. While we are still working on optimizing processing times for them, we're excited to see some of you already using them on your avatar. Thank you again to those that have supported us thus far.

Watermelon Sugar ... hi!

It is indeed National Watermelon Day, because - watermelon! Watermelon watermelon watermelon; oh and watermelon. To celebrate we have a few items now stocking in Clothing Inc. However, we think watermelons should be an everyday event, so be on the look out for other watermelon themed items floating about this month!
