Today is the last day of the month. Tomorrow is October 1st and we all know what that means! Fun! Fun! Fun!


Aeria the witch flew in on her broomstick and is ready with some new halloween themed new items to hand out to everyone who visits her. Make sure you remember to visit her every day!
The Pumpkin Patches will be returning. Get your creative juices flowing and have some fun decorating your patch. All you need to do is keep an eye on the small updates from d4rk_saga and enter it in the contest to win a Trophy and a one month free account upgrade.



The Trick or Treat Bags are back. All you need to do is open up your treat bag during October and other players will be dropping off an item for you to enjoy. Make sure your wishlist is up to date and if you've been a good girl or good boy, you just might get what you wish for. Trick or Treat bags can be opened on October 1st. At the end of the month you will be able to open up your bags to check out all your goodies.


If you live in a PF Town and you have not yet voted for your mayor, today is the last day to do so.

On the 1st day of the month, we will be selecting the Stuffy of the Month contest winners. For every 100 credits purchased in the Upgrade Center, a ticket will be entered in the random draw.


The Eurobank will be handing out its interest tonight. If you want to be eligible for October interest rates, you need to deposit your money now and make sure you log in at least once during the month.


On the 9th of the month the staff will be hosting a 500,000 PB Dicey Mice Staff Challenge during the day and evening. If you can beat the staff in a challenge, you will win a prize. One prize per player. Once you have won please don't challenge the staff again as we want to have everyone win.



On the 17th of the month we will be holding our monthly FREE BINGO day. As a thank you to everyone for playing Powerpets, everyone will be receiving 6 free tickets for every game. Come on out and play a few games and try your luck at winning some powerbucks!



On the 20th of each month we will be hosting a 250,000 Mini Bubbles Staff Challenge during the day and evening. If you can beat the staff in a challenge, you will win a prize. One prize per player. Please do not challenge the staff again if you have already won.




On the 25th of each month we will be holding our Monthly Scavenger Hunt. Get those thinking caps on and try your luck at winning an investigator stuffy.

When we first added the ability to hide markings and mutations in 2016, we intended for Wajas that were put up for sale would not have those details hidden, for the sake of transparency. We plan to roll out this change in seven days, on October 6. This change will affect all Wajas that are put up on autobuy, raffle, or auction. This will ensure that a potential buyer can make a more informed decision on the Waja they would like to purchase, bid on, or buy a raffle ticket for. Markings, mutations, and items will be displayed for those wajas. This change will NOT affect hidden colors, which will continue to be hidden.

Referral System

We have added a way to refer your friends to join Lythbound!

When an individual signs up using your username as their referral, you will receive a new referral point currency, which can be spent in an upcoming shop for a variety of rewards! (This release is being staggered, so that the referral URLs become available immediately and the shop will be available later.)

Additionally, you will receive gems whenever one of your referrals purchases gems. (This perk is active immediately.)

Other Updates

We have added artist credits to all item types when viewed in the Item Catalog (previously, these credits were only on Pet items). Adding the credits is a manual process and will be completed over time, which will result in some items saying "No artist data" temporarily!

We hope that everyone had a spectacular weekend and are looking forward to this week's new pet spotlight!! First off, we want to say that we are happy to hear everyone enjoying the backstory with all of the pets and learning either where they come from or a little bit about their personalities. The Pocku, from last week, is very interesting since you can only obtain one from gardening! Also, the fan art contest has some really cool entries. We love seeing the art from both repeat artists, as well as first time entry artists! If you haven't had the opportunity to check out the art for the contest, make sure you jump over to the contest section and vote for your favorite Pocku. You have until 8pm EST, Wednesday to choose!

Now, let's get into this week's pet spolight, the Helio!

Helio's are well natured and are omnivores who enjoy berries and nuts to hunting. They tend to enjoy being around mutliple different pets, although they seem to be more timid in social situations. One of their favorite things is playing hide and seek with either their owners or other pets. Jumping from tree to tree, it can be a great task in catching up to one of these majestic pets. While they are big enough for one person to ride a Heilo, they typically only allow that if there is immediate danger nearby.

Wow! What interesting info about the Helio... wonder how we could use that to incorporate into our weekly fan art contest °¤°¤

For the contest this week, we will continue to run the same structure. Submit a fan art image of the Helio in the 'Helio Fan Art Submissions' section in the Contests forums. The submission with the most hearts ¢¥¯¸ on it, will be the winner of the week. (If you happen to see someone's art that you think is also cute or funny, show some love with a different emoji like ° or °¤£) The submission's deadline will be this Sunday at 8pm EST, and you have until next Wednesday, Oct. 6th, at 8pm to vote on your favorite one! The winner will recive 1,000 tickets to the Ticket Counter AND a seed packet that turns into a Helio berry. (just in case you'd like to turn one of your pets into the lovable Helio).
