Two new Items are hitting the shelves today: the Corrupted Teddy Bear and the Wind-Up Heart Clock! If you're a Plushie or Toy enthusiast, you won't want to skip out on these. You can find the Corrupted Teddy Bear, funded by @smallsamoyed, at the Plushie Palace. You can also get it as a reward from the Book Quest, and a week from today, the Plushie Quest will begin asking for it. The Wind-Up Heart Clock, funded by @AceRabbit, is now available at the Toy Trunk. The Plushie Quest will also be rewarding it, and a week from today, the Space Quest will add it to its request list.



The first Questing Weekend of the year is upon is! From today until January 15th, 23:59:59 IcePets Time, the questing opportunities and rewards for the Book Quest will be doubled! Be sure to stock up on plenty of literature while the opportunity lasts.

In addition to welcoming new art staff, we are pleased to announce the opening of custom art orders in the Art Depot! All outstanding orders have been moved to order holding. If you would like an existing order resumed, please respond to your thread so one of our artists can requite and get you in the work queue! One of our fantastic artists will respond with a quote as soon as possible

Next up, our 2023 refresh! Throughout the months of January through March, our focus is to clean up CE¢s user interface and polish areas that frequently come up as a pain point for players. This includes addressing pagination issues, missing shortcuts, and other interface related functional issues. Our goal is to have an elevated version of CE by the end of March! Please be sure to continue to voice your concerns in the suggestion section of the forum as we look towards Q2 for development goals.

In addition to refreshing our main desktop version, we will also be tackling the task of optimizing CE for mobile! Our first areas to address with be the exploration page, forums, user messages/notification, headers, and the beauty contests. While CE will always be viewed best on a desktop or tablet, it is important to us that our players have mobile access for on the go gaming!

New genes for veilspun dragons to choose from!

Veilspun Parallel Genes
Additional genes are now available on for Veilspun dragons! Each of these genes has a chance to appear where their modern counterpart is available. This means that if the modern version of the gene was available in the treasure marketplace, the veilspun version will be too. If it was available through baldwin, that is where the veilspun parallel can be brewed!

Seasonal Scenes

Joining our selection of items that changes with the four seasons (summer, autumn, winter, spring) a new seasonal scene for Winter has now been added! This scene is available for purchase in the the Marketplace from December 22 until March 22, when the spring selection rolls in.
